Bingaman: Federal Funds Released for Three New Mexico Projects Print Share

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Jeff Bingaman announced today that the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has released funding he helped secure for three New Mexico projects.

  • Bernalillo County will receive $570,000 for a transitional housing facility for recovering substance abuse clients.
  • The Albuquerque Heights Boys and Girls Club will receive $328,300 to help renovate its facility.
  • The Santa Fe Teen Art Center will receive $80,750 for site improvements and equipment for a new facility.

"The funding released today will be used to advance the work on these three important projects and ensure these organizations can continue providing services to New Mexicans," Bingaman.
