| Michael Yudin Michael Yudin is Senator Bingaman's Senior Counsel for Education. Michael works on a variety of issues affecting children and families, including early education and Head Start, No Child Left Behind, Special Education, Higher Education and Welfore Reform. Michael previously worked for Senator Jeffords from Vermont and Senator Reed from Rhode Island. Prior to coming to the Senate, Michael worked as an attorney for the Federal government for almost 10 years at both the Social Security Administration and the Department of Labor. Sara Vecchiotti Sara Vecchiotti is a Society for Research and Child Development Congressional Fellow working in Senator Bingaman's office. She has a doctorate in applied developmental psychology from Fordham University and a law degree from New York Law School. Sara was previously a Barbara Paul Robinson Fellow at the Foundation for Child Development, a Putting First Fellow at Teachers College, Columbia University, an Urban Education and Child Development Fellow at the Yale Child Study Center, and a Bush Fellow at the Bush Center for Social Policy and Child Development. Her research interests include program evaluation, early education, and the welfare of families with low-incomes.
