Staff members in both my New Mexico and Washington, D.C. offices help me with my duties as a Senator.


My Chief of Staff is responsible for ensuring that all levels of my office run effectively, from evaluating legislative proposals to overseeing our response to constituent requests.


With the assistance of Legislative Assistants and Senior Policy Advisors, my Legislative Director monitors legislative activities in the office and helps evaluate the impact legislation will have on New Mexico.

My Press Secretary works with the media in New Mexico and nationwide to ensure that the people of New Mexico remain aware of my efforts in the Senate.

The Caseworkers in my New Mexico offices help resolve problems between constituents and federal government agencies. They also represent me at events in the state when I am unable to attend myself.
