Nancy Falk Nancy works on health and aging issues for Senator Bingaman. She is the John Heinz Senate Fellow in Aging, 2004 - 2005. She previously worked managing a national technology training program Experience Works, a large nonprofit that places older workers into training and employment programs. Nancy received her BS in Nursing from Alfred University and a Masters in Business Administration from the University at Buffalo, the State University of New York. She is also a doctoral student at George Mason University. Rachel Nuzmun, MPH Rachel is originally from Colorado and focuses primarily on public health legislation and access to healthcare issues for Senator Bingaman. She is honored and excited to be working for a Senator with such a strong history of advocating for increased access to healthcare. After graduating from the University of Colorado with a degree in Political Science and legal studies, she served the Governor of Colorado, first as a legislative analyst intern, and then in the Office of Boards and Commissions. She earned her Masters of Public Health in health policy and management at the University of South Florida, College of Public Health in May, 2004. While pursuing her graduate education, Rachel was a community health planner, responsible for collecting and analyzing data and making policy recommendations on findings. She is especially proud of her work in Polk County where she co-chaired a community effort that resulted in passage of a 1/2 cent sales tax, providing a designated funding source for the county's indigent health care program. |
