Weekly Update: International Trade Agreements and the American Jobs Act Print Share

U.S. Senator Jeff Bingaman discusses the international trade agreements with South Korea, Panama, and Columbia approved by Congress last week in this update.  In the largest trade package since 1994, one provision will end tariffs on U.S. agricultural exports with South Korea, which has the potential to create jobs in New Mexico.  Bingaman also discusses his disappointment that the American Jobs Act failed to progress last week.
