U.S. Senator Jeff Bingaman discusses the Las Conchas wildfire burning near Los Alamos and the ongoing negotiations about the debt ceiling and the budget in this week's update. Bingaman supports raising the debt ceiling to prevent defaulting on the nation's debts, and hopes Congressional leaders and the White House soon come to an agreement. Bingaman will be in New Mexico next week.
