Weekly Update: Energy Priorities Print Share
U.S. Senator Jeff Bingaman discusses his activities of the last week, which dealt largely with energy policy, in this podcast. Monday, Bingaman delivered a speech highlighting his energy priorities of the 112th Congress, and on Wednesday met with President Obama to discuss energy policy. The president outlined some of his energy goals during the State of the Union, and Bingaman felt privileged to discuss these and other energy matters with President Obama. Lastly, Bingaman touches on the FAA reauthorization bill, an important piece of legislation for New Mexico and the rest of the country, as this measure deals in part with the essential air services and air traffic control modernization.
