Weekly Update: Trade Assistance Protection and Continuing Resolution Print Share
U.S. Senator Jeff Bingaman discusses Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA), which the Senate is currently debating. TAA provides job training for American workers temporarily out of work because of free trade agreements with other countries, and has helped thousands of New Mexicans since 2009.
The continuing resolution (CR) to fund the federal government at current spending levels is currently being debated in Congress.
